BK Network DOI:10.7932/BDSN

The Berkeley Digital Seismic Network (BDSN) is operated by the Berkeley Seismological Laboratory. Operations are partially supported by the USGS. The BDSN is an array of high dynamic range, broadband seismometers with collocated strong-motion accelerometers. Data from these stations are transmitted to UC Berkeley using continuous telemetry and are analyzed for earthquakes. Data are stored at the Northern California Earthquake Data Center operated by the Berkeley Seismological Laboratory. For current BDSN network information as well as individual station pages, please see the Berkeley Seismological Lab's BDSN pages. The BDSN has the network code BK.

The BDSN has the DOI (Digital Object Identifier) 10.7932/BDSN. This allows citation of and reference to the BDSN easily and uniquely.

To cite the BDSN, please use the following statement:
"BDSN (2014), Berkeley Digital Seismic Network. UC Berkeley Seismological Laboratory. Dataset. doi:10.7932/BDSN."

To acknowledge the BDSN, please use the following statement:
"Data for this study come from the Berkeley Digital Seismic Network (BDSN), doi:10.7932/BDSN, operated by the UC Berkeley Seismological Laboratory, which is archived at the Northern California Earthquake Data Center (NCEDC), doi: 10.7932/NCEDC. "
