The Western North America Interferometric Synthetic Aperture Radar Consortium (WInSAR) represents a collection of universities and public agencies in the acquisition and archiving of synthetic aperture radar (SAR) data. This data set is useful in the study of a wide range of Earth processes.
The UC Berkeley archive consists of two parts. The scene database contains all SAR scenes that are archived at UC Berkeley and the interferogram database identifies all potential interferograms. Additional archives can be found at SCEC and Scripps. At this time there is no centralized archive and the data listed at one site may not agree with another.
The WInSAR scenes are only available to members of the WInSAR Consortuim, although non-members may be able to view information about the scenes and the processed data.
