List of faults

These maps draw from the development of the recenteqs Web pages at the USGS to show current seismicity in California and Nevada.

The data displayed on these maps represent significant effort on the part of many people at a number of agencies including UC Berkeley, the USGS Menlo Park, Caltech, the USGS Pasadena, the UN Reno, and Harvard University. The credits page from the recenteqs project enumerates some of these individuals.

David Oppenheimer, Mark Murray, and Doug Dreger provided helpful feedback on the oldeq maps.

The maps are created using the GMT or Generic Mapping Tools. The mouseover popbox is generated using the overLIB script by Erik Bosrup.

Funding for the development of oldeqs prototype was provided by IRIS, through the Education and Outreach Program.
